President Tom Hill is excited to be acting as the younger member group president for the 2007-2008 year. Tom currently works at Fluor Corporation as an Associate Design Engineer. Tom moved back to Greenville in 2006 after he obtained his degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from The Citadel in Charleston, SC. Tom is a licensed EIT working towards obtaining his PE. Vice President Bill Phelan, EIT, A.M. ASCE, is an Associate Design Engineer at Fluor Corporation in Greenville, SC and is eager to be serving as the ASCE YMG Vice President for the Upstate Branch. He received his bachelor's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and is currently pursuing his master's degree in Structural Engineering. Bill's past employment includes experience in the areas of surveying at Landtech Consultants, INc. in Westford, MA, structural engineering at FPL Co. in Seabrook, NH, and civil engineering at Rizzo Associates, Inc. in Framingham, MA. Treasurer Clark Hedges in the YMG Treasurer for the 2007-2008 year. Clark is a 2006 Graduate of The Citadel in Charleston, SC. After receiving his degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from The Citadel, Clark started work as a Structural Engineer at Fluor Corporation in Greenville, SC. Secretary Kathleen Hodson is looking forward to be acting as the ASCE YMG Secretary for the 2007-2008 year. She moved to the Greenville area in May of 2007 and currently works as a Staff Geotechnical Engineer for ECS Carolinas, LLP. Kathleen obtained her Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical emphasis from the university of Alabama in Huntsville. She is a licensed EIT working towards obtaining her PE. In her free time, Kathleen like to play sand volleyball and softball, enjoys almost everything outdoors, crafts, and meeting new people in the area. Social Chair David Warren is a lifelong resident of South Carolina. He was born in Charleston and graduated from the Citadel with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. He is currently an Associate Design Engineer for Fluor in Greenville, SC. David is very interested and dedicated to our YMG involvement and is going to make every effort this year to make each of our events successful.
